Bioresonance therapy. Methodical recommendations №2000/74

ANNOTATION Essence, possibilities and requirements for application of bioresonance therapy are described in methodical recommendations. Developed versions of bioresonance therapy can be applied on an in-patient basis and on an out-patient one as well as in house conditions under supervision of a doctor as a monotherapy or components of complex therapy. Wide clinical approbation of the method has showed that the method is more efficient in case of inefficiency of common methods of treatment and in case of intolerance to medicines. Methodical recommendations are written for physiotherapists, physicians of reflex therapy and other doctors of other specialties, having corresponding training.

INTRODUCTION

Bioresonance therapy (BRT) represents correction of the body's functions because of impact caused by electromagnetic radiations of strictly defined parameters like tuning fork responds to certain frequency spectrum of sound wave. The idea of BRT with the help of weak electromagnetic oscillations, corresponding to the patient himself/herself, has been firstly expressed and scientifically substantiated by F. Morell (1977). Relative synchronization of different oscillating (wave) processes is sustained in normal physiologic state of the body, while deviations of oscillating harmony are observed in case of pathological states. It can be manifested in deviation of main physiological processes, for example, because of sharp predominance of mechanisms of excitation or inhibition in the central nervous system and changing of cortical-subcortical interactions. That's why nowadays great role is accorded to resonance impacts and level of synchronization of body's systems during their functions.

BRT is a therapy by electromagnetic oscillations that resonates with structures of the body. The impact can be exercised at the cellular level as well as at the level of an organ, a system of organs and at the level of the whole body. The main idea of administration of resonance in medicine is following: it is possible to enhance normal (physiological) oscillations in the body and reduce pathological ones in case of correct selection of frequency and form of treating (electromagnetic) impact. Thus, bioresonance impact can be exercised for neutralization of pathological oscillations as well as for restoration of physiological oscillations destroyed during pathological states.

This method differs from the most of the methods of physiotherapy: it is not connected with heating of tissues; thus, this method belongs to "treating factors of low intensity" (informational impact). Devices applied for usage of this method can have electric impact (contact with skin through conductive electrodes) and electromagnetic exposure (contactless - through indicators of various types).

Current methodical recommendations are related to modern approaches to BRT. According to opinions of the authors, the most preferable versions of the method is those based upon choice of frequency regime and form of treating signal with the help of feedback from the patient, or the versions which imply that a form of treating signal corresponds to spontaneous biocapacities of various structures in normal (physiological) state of the body. Depending on these aspects, nowadays it is needed to distinguish two main types of the therapy:
a) endogenous BRT is a therapy with own electromagnetic oscillations of the body after their specific processing;
b) exogenous BRT is a therapy with external signals which resonate with particular organs and systems of the body, for example, magnetic fields created by special generators.

The developed and approbated methods by the authors can be used during treatment of wide range of pathological states on an in-patient basis as well as out-patient one and in house conditions under supervision of a treating physician as a monotherapy or components of a complex therapy. The all versions of BRT may be used only under the following condition: the patient must be examined with the help of the common modern methods of diagnostic.

DESCRIPTION OF METHOD

Formula of method
BRT represents treatment with endogenous and/or exogenous electromagnetic oscillations of low intensity of strictly defined form and frequency, causing resonant respond in the body. Usage of electromagnetic impact's parameters which are resonant to the state of the body is a newly developed aspect. The treatment is based upon suppression of pathological frequency spectrums of oscillations, restoration and amplification of physiological ones, and synchronization of various wave processes which compose physiological homeostasis of the body.

Indications and contraindications for usage of method
Indications for usage of method
Since the approach to treatment of various diseases is universal, and maximal individualization is applied to each patient (endogenous BRT), it is possible to treat wide range of pathologies with the help of BRT:
  • functional disorders of different genesis;
  • diseases of central nervous system and sense organs;
  • diseases of vegetative nervous system;
  • pain syndromes of various localizations and genesis;
  • diseases of cardiovascular system;
  • diseases of respiratory system;
  • diseases of digestive system;
  • diseases of skin and subcutaneous tissues;
  • diseases of musculoskeletal system;
  • diseases of urinary system and reproduction;
  • poorly healing wounds and ulcers, etc.
Contraindications for usage

Essence of method

The developed versions of BRT are based upon impact of weak electromagnetic fields, having certain characteristics, which resonate with oscillations of organs and tissues of the patient's body. Various versions of BRT differ from each other by frequency characteristics, form of signal and principles of their indications.

Endogenous BRT

Since oscillations (signals), belonging to the body, have electromagnetic nature, they can be received with the help of electrodes or inductors and transmitted through electrical cables to the input of the device for BRT. After being specially processed (space-time processing, frequency processing, non-lineal filtration, separation), the oscillations return to the patient through cables and electrodes from the output of the device. Electromagnetic field of the patient immediately reacts to these therapeutic signals, and corrected oscillations are directed to the device again. Thus, the patient and the device create closed circuit of adaptive regulation during the process of the therapy; as a result, processed oscillations return to the patient again and again. Consequently pathological oscillations become weaker or they are even suppressed completely; physiological oscillations become stronger, and dynamic balance of the body is gradually being restored (homeostasis). Thus, parameters of electromagnetic stimulation are defined just by the state of the patient in case of endogenous BRT; impact is maximally individualized in this situation; it allows stating that this method is one the most optimally controlled versions of treatment.

It is possible to distinguish frequency spectrums of pathological and physiological oscillations during the process of BRT; it is also possible to fix them, and if it is necessary, they can be inverted during the process of the therapy. Algorithms and regimes of BRT are chosen, depending on results of clinical examinations and electropunctural diagnostic.

Exogenous BRT

Structurally-resonance therapy (SRT) which is described in methodical recommendations is a method of exogenous bioresonance therapy. Frequencies of spontaneous bioelectrical activity (SBA) have been defined for certain organs experimentally and with the help of clinical researches; frequencies for other organs have been found theoretically through usage of certain mathematical regularities. Thus, for example, frequency of spontaneous bioelectrical impulses of stomach is 0,043 Hz, according to our studies; frequency of colon descendens is 0,064 Hz. These two measures relate to each other with the coefficient 3/2; and each one is supportive for rows which characterize SBA of other organs or organization's levels of nervous and other functional systems of the body.

These rows include frequencies of SBA of almost all hollow organs, vessels and constituents of nervous system. Consequential doubling of frequency starting values is used in this case; it serves a basis for formation of rows. For example, atrioventricular node of cardiac automatism is in the row of stomach, while sinoaricular node is in the row of colon descendens. Thus, in case of SRT frequency of treating signal corresponds to spontaneous biocapacities which precede work of various organs in normal (physiological) states. Electromagnetic field naturally appears around the tissue where electric signal goes through. Treating signal used for therapy is strictly symmetrical, while the signal of pathologically changed structures is asymmetrical. That's why it is enough to send needed therapeutic signal to skin projection of the damaged organ in accordance with its topography in order to get healing in certain time.

But there is one more peculiarity: not each organ has SBA. It turned out to be effective to treat their pathology as well, using the frequency diapason which is close to absolute refractory phase of nervous impulsation's perception. That's why regimes calculated with the help of the following formula have been introduced: F=V/L, F - frequency, V- speed of spread of electric impulse; L - lineal sizes of object. The smaller the lineal sizes of impacted object are, the higher the frequency of treating signal is.

Impact on patient can be excised by electric current (through contact) with the help of metallic electrodes or those made of current-carrying rubber or by magnetic field (contactless) with the help of inductors, loops and belts. The most convenient inductor is an indicator which looks like a flat belt for wrapping of upper part of the body, limbs or head. Tension of magnetic field created by inductors is 1 - 100 µT, depending upon chosen intensity. You can practically use contact as well as contactless impact because form of signal and its frequency characteristics are not changed in this case.

By nowadays 19 clinically relevant signals of SRT have been processed; the signals processed differ from each other through frequencies of the envelope and the carrier; regimes of electromagnetic impact have been elaborated on basis of the frequencies in order to use the frequencies in particular combinations. Programs of electromagnetic therapy, including a list of regimes needed for treatment of various pathologies, have been developed in accordance with indications of regimes. Structurally-resonance therapy may be used only after examination of the patient with the help of traditional modern methods of diagnostics.

Conditions for application of BRT

Workplace requirements

The room for BRT should be used only for application of this procedure. X-ray rooms, physiotherapeutic rooms, super-power microwave devices and ungrounded electric cables must not be near the room. The floor of the room should be wooden, or made of materials which don't accumulate static electricity. Workplace of the doctor must not contain geopathogenic, electromagnetic and other types of weights. Humidity and temperature in the room should be limited by 60-80% and 20-22 °С, accordingly. If fluorescent lamps are used for lighting, the distance between them and the patient should be not less than 1,2 m; if incandescent lamps are used, the distance should be about 0,5 m. The distance between PC, monitor and the patient should be as long, as it is possible; the distance between PC and equipment for BRT must not be less than 0,5 m. The doctor's workplace should be comfortable: the physician should sit comfortably to manipulate test-preparations and devices for diagnostics and BRT easily. The table, the chair and the foot rest, containing foot electrodes, should be wooden. Large metal frames, tripods, cupboards, exercising satellite or screening electromagnetic impact, must not be contained in the room.

Requirements towards doctor

The doctor conducts therapy, being dressed in clothes made of natural cloth, in order to avoid effects of static electricity. The physician's hand which is used for diagnostics should be in stable and comfortable position. Another doctor's hand which touches the patient should wear a glove (made of cotton or rubber) in order to avoid influence upon results of values and therapies.

Requirements towards patient

The patient should avoid drinking alcoholic beverages, coffee, smoking, and using cosmetics a day before the course. Jewelry, watches and glasses should be removed prior to the procedure. The patient should wear clothing made of natural cloth. The patient should be asked to remove individual communicative devices, generating electromagnetic fields (pager or handy).

Technology of using endogenous BRT

It is needed to do the following things prior to beginning of treatment every time:
  1. Verify form of disease or clinical syndrome, using common methods!
  2. Define preemptive organ's localization of damage and leading pathologic changes!
  3. Choose anatomotopographic zones for application of BRT!
  4. Choose type of BRT (contact or/and contactless), localization of electrodes and/or inductors on the body!
  5. Choose algorithm of applying BRT (all meridians, selected meridians, sequence of changing meridians during therapy, duration of therapy on selected meridians, total duration of therapy)!
  6. It is desirable to evaluate state of selected organs and systems by methods of electropunctural diagnostic prior to the beginning of BRT. The method of R. Foll, vegetative resonance test, auricular diagnostic and other methods permitted for usage can be utilized for this purpose.
General rules

Hand electrodes are mainly used for treatment of all organs located above the diaphragm. Foot electrodes are utilized for treatment of organs which are below the diaphragm. However, considering the system of meridians which covers the whole body, treatment of the body as a whole is conducted by hand as well as foot electrodes. It is recommended to use hand, foot and forehead electrodes and indicators at the same time in order to enhance capacities of the therapy.

The body surface area which contacts with electrodes should be naked and have good electric contact with electrodes.

An important aspect of the therapy is placement of electrodes and inductors because some diseases can be successfully treated, if electrodes and inductors are arranged correctly. Inductors can be placed on the area of the body exposed to treatment or projection of the organ. Metallic electrodes or those made of rubber can be placed on the skin above the damaged area. Metallic waistband can be placed such a way in order to cover many organs, arranging it on the face side, rear, or in side position, or covering certain areas of the body, for example, extremities.

The main goal of treating patients with endogenous BRT is identification and elimination of all exogenous and endogenous sources of disharmonious pathologic oscillations caused because of diseases. Several main algorithms of applying BRT have been developed.

Application of BRT along all meridians

This algorithm is used, when there are deviations on great number of meridians (over 3), according to the diagnostic of R. Foll. Hand, foot and forehead electrodes are used for the therapy. It is chosen the regime "along all meridians" on the device, and time of the therapy is set in the diapason from 0,1 sec till several seconds (0,1 sec is chosen in case of acute states; several seconds are chosen in case of chronic ones).

Duration of therapy usually lasts 10-20 minutes. The therapy finishes, when measures on Points of Measurement reach 50-65 units, according to the method of R, Foll, and when "drop of arrow" is absent on indicators of the device.

Application of BRT along selected acupunctural meridians

If the R. Foll's electropunctural method of diagnostic identifies deviations on 1-3 meridians, BRT is applied along these selected meridians. These meridians are chosen on the device; time of therapy is set along these meridians so, as it has been described above. Depending on identified meridians, hand and/or foot electrodes are used.

Duration of therapy is 10-20 min. The therapy finishes, when measures on Points of Measurement reach 50-65 units, and when "drop of arrow" is absent on indicators of the device.

The version of the therapy along selected meridians is the next option. After R. Foll's electropunctural diagnostic has been applied, meridians rank, depending on levels of expressiveness of values' deviations. The therapy should be begun with the meridian, having the worst values. After the values will have been normalized because of BRT, it is allowed to proceed to the next meridian and so on.

Another version of the therapy along selected meridians is the option, when the therapy of the meridian with deviation is conducted not through the meridian directly but through known interaction in acupuncture. For example, the following meridians are connected with that of heart: meridians of small intestine, lungs, gall bladder, and pericardium. That's why deviations in meridian of heart can be treated through the indicated meridians after they have been set on the device.

Spectrum inversion of pathologic oscillations is possible in the all analyzed algorithms; it allows enhancing effectiveness of the therapy.

Usage of BRT with application of medical testing

Homeopathic preparations tested in advance by R. Foll's method, nosods, organic preparations and other preparations which are permitted for medical usage on the territory of the Russian Federation in accordance with the established regulations can be used during the therapy; the preparations are connected with the input of the device in direct way (homeopathic preparations, organic preparatioms) or in inverse way (nosods). It allows using specters of these preparations' electromagnetic oscillations for resonance interaction with the body of the patient.

Application of BRT with usage of points of measurement

The therapy can be conducted not only along the meridians but also by tracing separate points of measurement, having deviations. Point electrodes applied on found points and connected with the device without inversion or with it are used for this purpose. Point therapy can be combined with the therapy along meridians.

Time between sessions of BRT is determined by nature of diseases. For example, in case of acute respiratory diseases sessions of BRT can be conducted daily or even several times per day. In case of chronic diseases sessions are conducted once in 2-3 weeks till getting of stable positive effect.

Technology of applying exogenous BRT

It is needed to solve the following standard series of questions each time for treatment of various pathologic states:
  1. Verify forms and other features of diseases or clinical syndrome by common traditional methods!
  2. Define preemptive organ's localization of damage!
  3. Determine leading pathologic changes (which help to determine nature of the process - inflammation, dystrophy, dyskinesia, etc.);
  4. Choose anatomotopographic zone for application of BRT!
  5. Choose type of BRT (contact or/and contactless), localization of electrodes and/or inductors on the body!
  6. Choose structure of session (regimes and their exposition, sequence of switching regimes)!
  7. Choose strategy of course treatment (quantity of sessions per day, week, etc., total duration of course)!
The method of exogenous therapy represents sending of treating impact on the projection of organs through an inductor - without any contact, or with the help of current-carrying materials - a contact way. Certain type of inductor is chosen, depending upon the zone which should be treated and the sizes of the zone.

The section "Logistical support package of the method" of some devices contains a therapeutic block which represents impulse generator which is indicated for formation of modulating frequencies, contributing to correction of various organic and functional deviations in human body. Frequencies used to solve these problems can be entered manually or set as programs which determine laws of frequency variations, depending on time.

Intensity (amplitude of impulses) is set in such way in case of electric stimulation, in order to reach the patient's individual threshold of sensitivity, manifesting itself in weak tingling under the electrodes. Intensity in case of magnetic therapy is set in accordance with the recommendations written below or determined with the help of R. Foll's method of diagnostic.

Exposition which has the size, corresponding to regeneration's capacities of particular organs, is required for achievement of structurization of physiologic level. For example, healing of degenerative lesions of mucous membranes (erosions, ulcers, cracks) of gastrointestinal tract can be completed within 36-120 hours, while complete healing of trophic ulcer of skin lasts 1-10 months. Phantom pains caused by traumas (including those caused by surgeries) can be forgotten after 1-2 sessions. Only acute states, such as acute toxic or toxically-allergic nephritis, hepatitis, dermatitis, Quincke's edema, bronchial status, acute spasms and atony of intestine, urinary tract and bile duct, acute myositis and radiculitis, can be improved completely and quickly (within 1-3 days).

One of important aspects is usage of "destabilizing" regime of impact. The regime of destabilization helps to misbalance formed pathologic stereotype of disease, facilitating later imposition of main treating rhythms; but this regime can be also applied within 10-15 hours of the beginning of any acute pathologic states.

Frequency regimes can be classified into three groups (they are listed below), depending upon frequencies which are used, in accordance with experience of treatment of many diseases and organs:

1) for organs with own SBA. The following regimes are used: the regime №1 - pathology of esophagus, stomach and duodenum; the regime №2 - skin and hypodermis; the regime №3 - bronchi and lungs, colon and anus;
2) correction of functions of central nervous system and dyskinesia, having various types of genesis. The following regimes are used: № 5, 6, 7, 8;
3) nonspecific impact on any organ and tissue through coming into resonance with elements of structurally-functional units. The following regimes are utilized: № 11-17, 5.
4) Any option of SRT begins with the regime of destabilization - the regimes №№ 9 and 10 are used.

Medical-technical characteristics of exogenous BRT's regimes are listed in the table 1.
Application of BRT in clinical practice requires the doctor's certain level of knowledge and skills in dealing with devices.

"SCANNING" regime is made manually or automatically through sequential switching of the following regimes: №-5-6-8-9-10-11-12-13-14-15-16-19 along the envelope, processing all optimal frequencies of carrying signal on each step of the envelope, beginning with 200 Hz and increasing them gradually till the maximal accessible one. It applied for nonspecific treatment of various diseases or in case of necessity of sequent usage of over two regimes during a session.

Detailed technical approaches related to work with instrumentation are written in instructions linked with usage of related devices.

Possible complications in case of BRT, ways to relieve and prevent them

Complications in case of BRT may be connected with exacerbation of main and accompanied diseases like they appear in case of homeopathic treatment. Possible causes are following:
  • lack of trusted relation with the ill person or his/her insincerity;
  • deviations from instructions given by treating doctor;
  • usage of alcohol;
  • serious stress, bringing to failure of adaptive reactions of the body.
If complications appear, BRT should be abolished; it is needed to indicate pharmacotherapy, considering the clinical picture. BRT sessions may be restarted, if only causes of complications are certainly found and deleted.

Effectiveness of method

It has been noted during a research linked with clinical effectiveness of BRT applied at the Research Institute of Traditional Methods of Treatment, the Ministry of Health of Russian Federation, and at the Research and Practice Center of Traditional Medicine and Homeopathy, the Ministry of Health of Russian Federation, that therapeutic effect is achieved in case of treatment of patients with various diseases. General statistical data (see Table 2) are written on the basis of work conducted in 1997-2000 by doctors that saw patients in health-care clinics, clinical hospitals and medical centers. 503 patients with various pathologies have been treated. 95,2% of the patients have gotten positive effect; 4,8% of the patients haven't improved health. Improvement of health has meant the following conditions: possibility to lower dosages of medications, complete or partial abolishment of other methods of treatment but with presence of supportive BRT treatment, improvement of health and state in general. Quite high efficiency of BRT is explained through the following fact: the patients with various pathologies have been chosen on the basis of research - the study enrolled only those patients that could be treated effectively, according to conclusions of the research. The main method of treatment has been BRT used alone or in combination with pharmacotherapy and other traditional methods of treatment.
